Frequently asked questions regarding car hire in Cyprus with Charlie Rent A Car.



1. What Terms and Conditions apply to rent a car in Cyprus with Charlie?
Please refer to our Terms and Conditions section of our website.

2. What type of payments do you accept?
We accept payments with all major credit/debit cards types via our secure check-out system or locally, if you select the “pay at location” option. We also accept payments with cash.

3. Are there any additional fees when making use of my credit/debit card?
No, there is no extra charge when using your credit/debit card.

4. What is included in the quoted rental price?
Our prices are in EURO and include: Unlimited Mileage, VAT, Local Taxes, Breakdown assistance, Replacement Vehicle in case of breakdown, CDW - Collision Damage Waiver with excess, Car delivery and collection, Credit card fees.

5. What are the minimum and maximum driver’s ages accepted with Charlie Rent A Car?
The minimum driver’s accepted age in 19 years old provided the driver holds a driving license for at least 3 years. Maximum accepted age is 75 years old.

6. How can I book my car rental reservation?
You can book your car using our online reservation system or you may contact us to arrange your booking by email or by phone.

7. What documents do I have to bring with me on car collection?
It is important to provide a valid driving license for each driver, your passport or identity card.

8. Who is allowed to drive the hired car?
Only the driver/s referred in the rental agreement is/are allowed to drive the rented car.

9. Can I add any additional driver on my rental agreement?
Yes, you may add additional drivers during your online reservation procedure or when collecting the car.

10. What happens if my car breaks down?
In this case you can contact us using our emergency phone number for special instructions or to have your car replaced.

11.  What happens if I get involved in a car accident?
In such an unfortunate case you must contact us immediately on our emergency phone number. Do not move your car unless instructed by a police officer.

12. What is your fuel policy?
Cars should be returned with the same fuel level. Fuel level will be advised on pick up and noted on agreement to avoid any fuel charges.

13. Can I extend my car rental?
Yes, you may ask to extend your car rental, but this is subject to availability. To avoid any availability issues you must ask for a rental extension at least 48 hours before your rental is completed.

14. Can I drop off the rental car earlier than the agreed date/hour? Is there any partial refund?
You may drop off the car earlier than the agreed date/hour, but there is no any refund.

15. Can I drop off the rental car at a later time?
For this case we offer a grace period of one hour. After this time there will be an extra charge of another day.
